GSE-CI ends Thursday’s session 12.17 points higher; posts YTD returns of 9.91% 

The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) gained 12.17 points to close at 3,440.57 points, posting a YTD return of 9.91%.

GSE-CI ends Thursday’s session 12.17 points higher; posts YTD returns of 9.91% 

The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) gained 12.17 points to close at 3,440.57 points, posting a YTD return of 9.91%.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index closed unchanged at 1,994.37 points, keeping its YTD return to 4.88%.

MTNGH counter closed higher again at GH¢1.57 (GH¢1.56 previous) trading 22,794 shares valued at GH¢35,708.64.

GLD counter also closed higher at GH¢275.55 (GH¢262.20 previous) with a turnover of GH¢12,620,150.00.

Market capitalization increased by GH¢171.08 million to GH¢77.47 billion.

Thursday’s trading session recorded a total turnover of GH¢ 12,834,591.54 (up12935.21%) from the exchange of nine (9) different counters.

Total volume traded was 84,920 (up 59.51%). There were outstanding offers for MTNGH, GGBL, SCB and
