GSE-CI records no change for four consecutive trading days

The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) concluded today’s session at 3,172.43 points to return 1.35%.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index likewise remained unchanged ending the day at 1,910.16 points.

No stock saw movement in their price on this trading day and market capitalization remained at GH¢74.42 billion.

Activity is expected to pick up over the coming days as entities begin to publish information on their full year earnings.

On Wednesday, a total of 1,959,116 shares (up 2244.28%), valued at GH¢2,802,030.12 (up 598.73%) were traded, as eleven (11) stocks exchanged hands.

MTNGH trades dominated today’s trading session, trading 1,821,247 shares, edging GOIL which traded 131,620 shares valued at GH¢197,430.00.
