GSE-CI closes unchanged at 3,144 points

The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to close the day at 3,144.00 points, maintaining its YTD return of 0.44%.

The GSE Financial Stocks Index similarly remained unmoved to close today’s session at 1,906.81 points.

There were no gainers nor decliners on this trading day and as a result, market Capitalization rose to close at GH¢74.10 billion.

Overall, 42,958 shares (down 98.82%), valued at GH¢127,240.55 (down 97.75%) were traded, as fourteen (14) stocks exchanged hands.

ETI trades dominated trading session with a trading volume of 21,042 shares worth GH¢3,156.30.

In second place was MTNGH, which traded 11,395 shares valued at GH¢15,953.00. SCB, GCB, and BOPP followed in the activity pile to complete the top 5 traded stocks on the day.
