Benchmark index remains unchanged to end the day at 3,141 points

The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to close at 3,141.18 points, returning 28.53% YTD.

The Financial Stocks Index on similarly remained constant to close at 1,947.53 points, posting a YTD loss of -5.12%.

There were no gainers nor decliners on this trading day and as a result, market capitalization also stood still at
GH¢73.91 billion.

Some 9,379 shares were traded, valued at GH¢48,494.60 on a trading day that saw seventeen (17) stocks exchange hands.

Volumes traded and value traded were-64.58% and -1.14% less respectively compared to the previous trading day.

This indicates a continuation of the declining trend in trade activity predominantly seen over the week.

The other stocks that made up the top five traded stocks include SIC, GOIL and MTNGH.
