Local bourse benchmark index begins 2024 at 3,130 points
The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to end the day at 3,130.23.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index similarly remained unchanged to close at 1,901.57 points.
There were no gainers or decliners on Tuesday’s trading day.
Thus, Market Capitalization for the day remained at
GH¢73.89 billion.
26,314 shares (down 70.59%), valued at GH¢12,766.16
(down 88.88%) were traded today, with as few as
eight (8) stocks in total exchanging hands.
CPC trades dominated today’s trading session with a
trade volume of 17,285 shares worth GH¢345.70. The
second most traded stock was ETI, which traded 3,494
shares valued at GH¢524.10. MTNGH, CAL and
ACCESS followed in the activity pile to complete the
top 5 traded stocks on the day.
