- Formula One and NFL Unite in Charity Auction for Movember at Miami Grand Prix
F1 Authentics is auctioning a rare multi-sport collectible that brings together Formula One and the National Football League, after a unique charity activation staged around the 2026 Miami Grand Prix. The auction features signed helmets from Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver Lance Stroll and Miami Dolphins NFL player Jordan Phillips, offered as a single collector’s set. The initiative was brought together by Atlas Air Worldwide to raise money and awareness for Movember, the global charity focused on men’s health.
The helmets were exchanged ahead of the Miami Grand Prix as part of a sporting crossover designed to show how high-profile platforms can be used to support important social causes. They were later displayed at the track during race weekend before being made available through F1 Authentics for collectors.
The set is expected to attract interest from motorsport, NFL and memorabilia collectors, given the rarity of signed items that combine two major global sporting properties in one charity-focused auction.
The collectible is officially listed as “Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team x Miami Dolphins Lance Stroll Signed Helmet and Jordan Phillips Signed Football Helmet, presented by Atlas Air Worldwide.”
Bidding was scheduled to begin on May 11, with previews of the listing and exchange made available ahead of the auction.
Beyond its collector value, the auction carries a direct fundraising component. Atlas Air Worldwide and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team have both committed up to US$25,000 to match the winning bid, increasing the potential impact of the sale for Movember’s work.
The activation reflects the growing commercial overlap between global sports, fan engagement and cause-led partnerships. Formula One has expanded significantly in the United States in recent years, with races such as Miami strengthening the sport’s connection with American audiences, celebrities, sponsors and wider entertainment culture.
By pairing Formula One with the NFL, the auction taps into two fan bases while placing men’s health at the centre of the campaign.
For Movember, the collaboration provides visibility around issues that often remain under-discussed, including mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. Sporting platforms have increasingly become important vehicles for raising awareness around such issues, particularly among male audiences.
F1 Authentics, operated by Memento Exclusives, has positioned the auction as part of its wider effort to offer fans access to rare sports memorabilia and officially licensed collectibles. Memento Exclusives describes itself as a global sports licensing, retail and memorabilia business that enables fans to “own the moment” through products linked to major teams, athletes and sporting events.
The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team also enters the 2026 season at a significant moment in its development. The team is moving into a new era as a full works operation, with Honda supplying power units and technical leadership strengthened by Adrian Newey, who has taken on the additional role of Team Principal.
On track, the team’s driver line-up features Lance Stroll and double world champion Fernando Alonso, with Jak Crawford serving as official Third Driver, alongside Test and Reserve Driver Stoffel Vandoorne and Team Ambassador Pedro de la Rosa.
The charity auction therefore sits at the intersection of sport, branding, fan culture and social impact. It is not simply a sale of signed helmets. It is a carefully staged crossover moment linking Formula One, American football, a global logistics partner and a men’s health charity.
