GSE-CI begins the week unchanged at 3,130 points

The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change from the
previous trading day to close at 3,130.60 points, placing its YTD return at 28.10%.

The Financial Stocks Index similarly remained constant to close at 1,918.99 points, placing its YTD loss at -6.51%.

There were no decliners nor gainers on Monday’s trading day and as a result, market capitalization remained at GH¢ 73,807.06 billion.

Overall, 187,785 shares (down 94.04%), valued at GH¢222,358.59 (down 97.88%) were traded today, with nineteen (19) stocks in total exchanging hands.

MTNGH trades dominated the market with a trade volume of 122,944 shares worth GH¢172,131.60.

This was followed by SIC, which saw 49,540 shares valued at GH¢11,889.60 trade.
