GSE-CI inch up by 1.80 points to close at 2,731.00 points

The benchmark GSE Composite Index (GSE-CI) at the close of market  improved by 1.80 points to close at 2,731.00 representing a YTD return of  -2.09%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also improved its level as it gained 3.27 points to close trading at 2,125.20 translating into a YTD return of -1.24%.

In the aggregate, nine (9) equities participated in trading, ending with only one gainer, namely CAL Bank as it gainedGH¢0.03 to close at GH¢0.85.

Market capitalization thus inched up marginally by GH¢18.79 million to close at GH¢63.74 billion representing a YTD decline of -1.18%.

A total of 115,947 shares valued at GH¢ 29,228.98 were traded compared to 4,574,180 shares valued at GH¢5,621,627.76 which changed hands yesterday, 8th February, 2022. CAL Bank PLC. (CAL) traded the most accounting for 29.02% of the total value traded.
