GSE-CI opens the week flat, records no gainers or losers 

The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change from the previous trading day to close at 3,063.44, placing its YTD return at 25.35%.

The Financial Stocks Index similarly closed the day as it started at 1,907.79 points, pegging its YTD loss at -7.11%.

There were no price changes on this trading day and as a result, market capitalization remained at the GH¢ 73,164.34 billion.

Overall, 22,133 shares (down 99.06%), valued at GH¢3,352,830.38 (down 98.76%) were traded on Monday with nineteen (19) stocks in total exchanging hands.

MTNGH trades dominated the market with a trade volume of 9,411 shares worth GH¢12,704.85.

This was followed by CLYD, which saw 4,875 shares trade, valued at GH¢146.25.

The other stocks that made up the top five traded stocks were FML, CAL and CMLT.

The top value trader on Monday was SCB. The stock traded 810 shares valued at GH¢14,215.50
