GSE-CI remains flat as no gainers or losers recorded on Monday’s trading session
The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to close the
day at 3,125.72 points, placing its YTD return at 27.90%.
The Financial Stocks Index also stood still at 1,979.43 points, pegging its YTD loss at -3.56%.
There were no gainers nor decliners on this trading day, keeping the Market capitalization at GH¢73.74 million.
In all, some 127,880 shares were traded, valued at GH¢246,366.48 on a trading day that saw fifteen (15) stocks exchange hands.
Volumes traded and value traded were -95.92% and -94.37% higher respectively, compared to the previous trading day.
MTNGH topped the day trading with 90,495 shares.
This was followed by EGH which saw 15,787 shares valued at GH¢93,143.30 trade.
The other stocks that made up the top five traded stocks were SIC, GCB, and CAL.
