GSE records no gainers and decliners on Wednesday

The Ghana Stock Exchange [GSE] recorded no gainers and decliners at the end of trading activities on Wednesday, August 24, 2022. 

The benchmark index – GSE-CI – closed at 2,485.63 points, the  same mark as it opened, representing a YTD return of -10.89%.

The GSE-FSI also maintained its value to close trading at 2,034.82 points  translating into a YTD return of -5.44%. 

Seventeen (17) equities traded ending with no gainer nor decliner as the market capitalization of the Accra Bourse, settled at GH¢63.87 billion for the day.

Data shows that, a total of 528,064 shares valued at GH¢317,069.43 was traded on the day.

Compared with the previous GSE trading day (August 23), Wednesday’s data shows a 51.44% decline in volume traded as well as a 72.58% decline in trade turnover.
