Local bourse closes first trading day of the week 0.13 points higher, YTD return still at 20.51%
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE Composite Index) climbed 0.13 points to close at 3,772.23 points with a YTD return of 20.51%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index also grew to 2,085.01 points, with a 9.65% rise in its YTD return.
SCB rose to GH¢19.26 after a GH¢0.01 gain. As a result, market capitalization of the bourse increased by GH¢1.35 million ending the day at GH¢84.20 billion.
In terms of trade activity, total turnover spiked to GH¢3,894,544.72 (up 227.51%) compared to the previous
day.
Seventeen (17) different equities were traded as total volumes traded marginally increased, with 649,679 shares
traded.
There were outstanding offers for FML, SOGEGH, UNIL and GGBL at GH¢3.19, GH¢1.54, GH¢12.50 and GH¢4.44
respectively.
