GSE remains flat for third consecutive day

The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to close at
3,195.57, placing its YTD return at 30.76%.

The Financial Stocks Index also remained constant at 2,042.09 points, pegging its YTD loss at -0.51%.

There were no gainers nor decliners on this trading day as has been the case all week, resulting in market capitalization staying put at GH¢74.50 billion.

Market activity declined from the previous day as 141,684 shares (down 93.77%) valued at GH¢420,745.01 (down 86.77%) were traded, with twelve (12) stocks in total exchanging hands.

GCB led the activity pile on the exchange, trading 111,154 shares worth GH¢389,039.00. This was followed by CAL, which saw 14,543 shares valued at GH¢7,416.93 trade.

The other stocks that made up the top five traded stocks were MTNGH, SIC, and EGL.
