GSE-CI fall by 4.80 points; posts returns of 12.02%

The Ghana Stock Exchange Composite Index (GSE-CI) ended in red as it lost 4.80 points to close at 2,454.01 points representing a YTD return of  -12.02%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) likewise lost 8.70 points  to close at 2,069.53 points, representing a YTD return of -3.83%. 

Cal Bank PLC. (CAL) lost GH¢0.08 to record a closing price of GH¢0.72  per share from an opening price of GH¢0.80 per share.

The GSE’s market  capitalization for the day settled at GH¢64.46 billion.

Scancom PLC.  (MTNGH) emerged as the most traded stock at the close of the trading session, accounting for 49.38% of the overall trade volume and accounted for 46.45% of the total value traded.
