Local bourse records no gainers or losers on Monday’s trading session
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) recorded no change to end the day at 3,185.18 points, keeping the YTD return at 1.76%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index similarly closed unmoved at 1,922 points.
There were no gainers nor decliners on Monday’s trading session and thus, market capitalization remained at GH¢74.61 billion.
Market activity was rather slow recording the least volume traded in the last 30 days.
Overall, 25,598 shares (down 58.61%) corresponding to a value of GH¢37,306.78 (down 67.25%) were traded, as six (6) stocks exchanged hands.
MTNGH trades dominated today’s session, trading 25,191 shares, surpassing the much lower 197 traded in SIC with a value of GH¢47.28.
DASPHARMA, BOPP and GGBL followed in the activity pile to complete the top 5 traded stocks on the day.
