Rosemary Beryl Archer gets appointment as Deputy CEO of Ghana Exim Bank
President Akufo-Addo has appointed Rosemary Beryl Archer as the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in charge of Banking/Business of the Ghana Exim Bank.
Ms Archer’s appointment by the President is in pursuant to Act 911, 2016 of the Ghana Export and Import Bank Act.
“Pursuant to Section 18(1) of the Ghana Exim Bank Act, 2016, (Act 911), the President has appointed you to act as the Deputy Chief Executive – Business/Banking of the Ghana Export and Import Bank pending receipt of the constitutionally required advice of the governing board of the Bank, given the consultation with the Public Service Commission,” read parts of the appointment letter dated January 4, 2022 and signed by the Chief of Staff, AkosuaFrema Osei-Opare.
Until her appointment to her new role, Ms Archer was the Head of SME at Ghana Exim Bank.

Ms Archer has over 20 years experience in three key industries including the media and telecoms (working with MTN Ghana) but mostly in banking.
Within her 16years of banking experience, she has assumed various roles including roles at Corporate and Institutional Banking l, Retail, SME, Business Development, Treasury, Credit and Recoveries, Export Development within several local banks including Access Bank and Fidelity Bank.
She is expected to bring her banking experience to bear in her new role.
