Stock market records no gainers and decliners; posts -8.86% YTD returns for traders

The Accra Bourse did not record any change closing at the same  mark as it opened at 2,542.17 points representing a YTD return of  -8.86%.

The GSE Financial Stock Index (GSE-FSI) also maintained  its value to close trading at 2,170.33 points translating into a YTD  return of 0.86%.

Fifteen (15) equities traded on Wednesday, ending with no gainer nor decliner as market capitalization for the day settled at GH¢62.01 billion.

A total of 5,554,095 shares valued at GH¢4,998,502.95 was traded on Wednesday. Compared with the previous GSE trading day – Tuesday, June 28 – Wednesday’s data shows a 4085.26% trade turnover.

Meanwhile, MTNGH accounted for 99.79%  of the total value traded and recorded the largest volumes  traded.
