GSE-CI rises by 0.11 points; returns -0.21%

The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) recorded its first daily gain of 2023 as it inched up  by 0.11 points to close at 2,438.74 points representing a YTD return  of -0.21%.

The GSE-FSI remained unchanged to close at 2,047.15 points, representing a YTD return of -0.26%. 

Total Energies Marketing Ghana PLC. (TOTAL) gained GH¢0.01 to  record a closing price of GH¢4.01 per share from an opening price of  GH¢4.00 per share causing market capitalization for the day to  settle at GH¢64.56 billion.

Compared to the previous trading day, the volume traded  decreased by 95.69% with a corresponding decreased of 96.76% in value traded.

Scancom PLC. (MTNGH) emerged as the most traded stock at the close of the trading session and made up 56.41% of the  total value traded.
