Fan Milk Apologises for Achimota-Tesano Traffic Disruption Involving Third-Party Logistics Partner
Fan Milk Plc has extended an apology to road users and motorists along the Achimota-Tesano road for the inconvenience caused by a truck accident involving one of its third-party logistics partners, Adwenpa Transport Services Limited.
In a statement issued by the company, it confirmed that the incident, which occurred on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at around 6:00 PM near the Achimota overhead bridge, resulted in significant traffic disruption.
The accident restricted traffic flow to a single lane, leading to significant delays for motorists. Fortunately, there were no injuries, casualties, or damages to other vehicles.
“We are aware of an accident involving a truck operated by one of Fan Milk’s third-party logistics partners, Adwenpa Transport Services Limited. The truck was not carrying any product,” the company said in a statement.
Eyewitnesses reported that the truck driver claimed another vehicle abruptly cut into his lane, prompting an evasive maneuver that caused the truck to lose balance and topple. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, escaped unharmed.
Adwenpa Transport Services Limited is said to be cooperating with authorities to investigate the cause of the accident.
