Dubai to cancel some fees faced by airlines
Airline agents and offices in Dubai will no longer have to pay fees after the government passed a new resolution.
Resolution No. (32) of 2022 will cancel fees paid by airline agents and offices operating in Dubai and is effective immediately.
Since March 12th, 1985, airline agents and offices in the country have had to pay fees, while Dubai added further regulations as part of Resolution No. (4) in 1998.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council, issued the resolution on Monday.
The full details of Resolution No. (32) of 2022 will be revealed in Dubai Official Gazette, the Government of Dubai’s official legal publication.
