GSE-CI remains pegged at 3,130 points; returns 28.08% YTD
The benchmark index (GSE-Composite Index) of the Ghana Stock Exchange recorded no change to end the day at 3,130.23 points.
This represents a YTD return of 28.08%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index similarly closed unmoved at 1,901.57 points representing a YTD return of -7.36%.
There were no gainers nor decliners in Thursday’s trading session.
Thus, the market capitalization of the local bourse for the day remained at GH¢73.89 billion.
Overall, 11,475 shares(down 98.81%), valued at GH¢15,224.98 (down 99.04%) were traded today, with as few as nine (9) stocks in total exchanging hands.
