GSE market capitalisation declines marginally to GHS 74.4bn
The benchmark index of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE-Composite Index) declined by a fraction of a point dropping its YTD return marginally to 1.35%.
The GSE Financial Stocks Index likewise closed lower with a 0.47 point dip to conclude the day at 1,910.16 points.
SCB lost GH¢0.02 to close at GH¢17.53. Hence, market capitalization decreased marginally by GH¢2.70 million at GH¢74.42 billion.
Overall, 76,949 shares (up 185.98%), valued at GH¢409,781.51 (up 590.38%) were traded, as twelve (12) stocks exchanged hands.
MTNGH trades dominated today’s trading session with a trading volume of 22,586 shares worth GH¢31,620.40.
In second place was FML, which traded 13,499 shares valued at GH¢43,871.75.
